Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combinat (NMMC) is known in Uzbekistan as a multi-industry company producing various products for economic sectors of Uzbekistan. Its subdivisions are located in seven regions and over 67 thousand people are the employees of the Combinat.
Our country is one of the top ten world countries in terms of proven reserves and expected resources of gold, uranium, copper, tungsten, potassium salts, phosphorite, kaolin, etc. Major gold and uranium pools are located in the Central Kyzylkum region and used in Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combinat activity.
In spite of the broad assortment of the produced goods the NMMC priority is commercial development of mineral reserves and its main products are gold and uranium, which are the base of activity of NMMC as a mining and metallurgical enterprise having a complete production cycle from exploratory operations, ore extraction, ore processing up to production of 24 carat gold (99,99% fineness) and triuranium octoxide (U3O8).
In addition to the main production Combinat produces phosphorites, sulphuric acid, gold and silver jewellery. Production of liquid glass, explosives, PVC and PE pipes has been commissioned. Such construction materials as crushed stone, concrete, asphalt concrete, molding sand, limestone, facing goods made of gabbro, marble and granite are produced on the basis of local raw materials.
The Combinat provides industrial equipment repair services. Metal-cutting equipment, construction metalware, welding electrodes, household appliances, food and other consumer goods are also produced.
NMMC innovation policy is directed to upgrading of the existing production bases, modernization, introduction of advanced scientific developments.

NMMC has established long lasting relationship with the largest scientific and research and academic institutes. Inter-industry cooperation is intensively developed.
