Bin

The invention relates to mining practice and may be used in charging / discharging operations in the open pits. The object of invention is to reduce the spillage of material when overloading.

The bin includes slide gates and plates underlying them. The lower plate is kinematically connected with relevant slide gate, and the other is translatably mounted and fixed towards bed plate and made at its low end with material flow limiter.

The bin is provided with plates installed in parallel under the each slide gate for reducing the spillage of material when overloading. The bed plate is mounted in slide gate guides and kinematically connected with the latter, and the other is translatably mounted and fixed towards bed plate and made at its low end with gimbal-mounted material flow limiter. Kinematical connection of plate with slide gate consists of strips fixed on the nonworking surface of the slide gate and working surface of bed plate, and gear wheels fixed onto slide gate guides with pitch not exceeding the bed plate length.
