Method of gold desorption from anion exchange resins

The invention relates to metallurgy of precious metals.

The distinctive feature of the proposed method is combination of desorption process with extraction by means of treatment of anion exchange gold-bearing resin using mixture of special organic extractant in the solution containing optimal concentration of thiourea and sulfuric acid which allows to reduce the time of desorption. Desorption is performed in 7-8 stages at optimal ratio of thiourea and extractant, and specified temperature.
