Uranium underground leaching method

Invention implemented in underground leaching areas (UL) in NMMC Mining Board No.5

Task of the invention: increase the intensity of uranium leaching in simultaneous reduction of sulfuric acid discharge intensity in refining of carbonate ores.

Character of the invention: uranium underground leaching method includes feed into the layer through the system of production wells at the beginning of sheeted bicarbonate water and then sulfuric acid solution and pumping of productive solutions for sorption extraction of uranium. In pumping layer water the sodium hypochlorite to concentration of active chlorine 0.1-0.3 g / l is dosed. In achievement in haul product solutions the uranium concentration 10-20 mg / l conveyed into injection wells the sulfuric acid solution with concentration H2SO4 2-8 g / l.

Manufacturing technology patented by Republic of Uzbekistan №IAP 04442 UZ. There is a “know how” for this technology. Technology transfer is possible only on licensing agreement.
