In 2002 emulsion explosives (EE) plant was put into operation in NMMC. The basic component of this product is prilled ammonium nitrate manufactured by "Navoiazot” OJSC. Proximity of the supplier and its commitment to deliver raw materials practically in non-limited quantities make it possible to refuse deliveries of expensive explosives from abroad. Blasting operations in NMMC subdivisions have been completely switched to modern innovative technologies, dangerous inefficient labour has been eliminated, economic indexes in ore output have considerably improved.

With growing yield of packaged EE, the plant provides with explosives not only NMMC subdivisions but also enterprises conducting blasting operations in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Quality of finished product is as good as of foreign analogues and is a beneficial solution both for industrial enterprises and for the national economy of Uzbekistan. The main uniqueness of production methods is that it makes it possible to obtain high-quality explosives using 92-96 % of the raw components produced in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
