Mining remains one of the key pillars of Uzbekistan’s industrial development — and at Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company, the sector continues to advance through innovation, efficiency, and investment.

In recent years, major investment projects have been implemented to expand ore processing capacities and develop new deposits, including Muruntau (Stage V), Qoqpatas, Dovg‘iztov, Zarmitan, Pistali, Turbay, Tomdibuloq, and Balpantov.

Thanks to these initiatives, the volume of mined rock has grown from 107 million m³ in 2015 to 284.6 million m³ in 2024, while ore extraction increased from 50.6 million to 94.7 million tonnes. At the Muruntau deposit alone, 97.9 million cubic meters of rock are planned to be mined this year.

Through technological innovation, automation, and digitalization, NMMC continues to enhance operational efficiency, ensure occupational safety, and strengthen its contribution to the sustainable development of Uzbekistan’s mining industry.
