Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company has successfully completed a major milestone in the Muruntau Mine Project – 5th Stage, Phase 1 (2017–2026), reinforcing the mine’s position as a key driver of production and long-term value.

Key outcomes of the 5th stage implementation:

Investments: $734 million
Infrastructure: 6 substations, 15 power transformers, 50 km of power lines, 4 km of railway, 3 km of conveyor lines
Jobs created: 1,472 new positions
Equipment: Over 40 units of modern mining machinery, including CAT-793D, HITACHI EH4000AS-3, Komatsu 860E-1K
Operational performance: 120 million m³ of run-of-mine material transported, enhanced operational efficiency and consistent growth in ore production

The expertise of the NMMC team on the 5th stage of the Muruntau Mine and the implementation of advanced technological solutions enabled the achievement of planned production targets and strengthened overall operational effectiveness.
