International rating agency S&P Global Ratings has announced the upgrade of the long-term credit rating of Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company JSC (NMMC) to ‘BB’, with a ‘Stable’ outlook.

S&P Global Ratings raised NMMC’s credit rating following the improvement of the sovereign rating of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The upgrade reflects the company’s solid financial position and the resilience of its operational performance.

The outlook aligns with the sovereign credit rating of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The agency expects NMMC to maintain a balanced financial approach, enabling the company to continue making a significant contribution to the national economy.
