As part of a working visit by the delegation of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Navoi region, representatives of the Ministry visited Navoi Mining and Metallurgy Company.

During the visit, First Deputy Minister Feruza Khamidova held a meeting with NMMC’s leadership. Discussions focused on financing ongoing investment projects, advancing the company’s transformation program and accelerating the adoption of modern technological solutions.

To gain deeper insights into the company’s operations, the delegation visited the Muruntau mine and Hydrometallurgical Plant No. 2, where they familiarized with ore extraction and transportation processes, as well as the company’s progress in digitalization and automation.

Strengthening collaboration with key stakeholders remains one of NMMC’s top priorities.
