The Navoi Machine-Building Plant is one of NMMC’s key divisions, producing localized and import-substituting equipment for the company’s operations.

Today, it operates as a full industrial ecosystem:

11 workshops, 5 production units, 3 laboratories and affiliated plants in Takhiatash, Termez and Nurabad. With 3,400 employees and a product range of 15,000+ items, the plant supplies 98% of its output directly to NMMC.

One of its major milestones has been the localization of large-scale grinding mills for hydrometallurgical plants. In 2025 alone, 11 mills of various sizes were manufactured and delivered under the localization program.

Ongoing investments have expanded capabilities to process equipment weighing up to 980 tonnes and increased metal casting capacity by 10,000 tonnes.
In 2025, the plant delivered localized and import-substituting products worth over UZS 1 trillion (equivalent to $79.5 million), strengthening NMMC’s operational independence and creating new growth and employment opportunities.
