On June 24–25, 2025, Tashkent is hosting the 11th International Forum MINEX Central Asia 2025, a key regional platform for discussing the future of the mining industry. The forum is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan under the theme: “Strengthening Central Asia’s Role in the Global Security of Critical Mineral Resources”.

Alongside participants from leading companies representing over 20 countries across Central Asia, Europe, and Asia, the delegation of Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company is also taking part in the forum.

During the plenary session “Building an Investment-Attractive Framework for Strategic Partnerships” CFO Jakhongir Khasanov delivered a speech. He emphasized that NMMC, as the largest industrial enterprise in Uzbekistan, together with the entire country’s mining sector, plays a central role in driving economic growth by contributing to the development of the mineral resource base, attracting investment in infrastructure and advancing human capital.

He also highlighted that the successful placement of international bonds in 2024 and 2025 marked significant milestones in strengthening NMMC’s investment appeal and commitment to financial transparency.

MINEX Central Asia 2025 has served as a vital platform to address key issues ranging from exploration and supply chain resilience to digital transformation and workforce development in the regional mining industry.
