The pilot phase of the Mining Software System has been started at the Eastern mine of the Northern Mining Administration as part of NMMC’s Digital Transformation Strategy and Operational Efficiency Improvement Program.

📌 The goal of the project is to introduce modern digital tools for effective management of geological, surveying, and mining engineering data.

Key project components include:
• Establishment of specialized automated workstations
• Training of NMMC specialists on GEOVIA software

The first training module was recently held, during which specialists from the Northern Mining Administration learned the basic functions of GEOVIA Surpac and explored the capabilities of digital solutions for geological modeling and mine planning. Subsequent training will follow a phased approach.

The implementation of Integrated Mining and Geological Information System is a significant milestone in NMMC’s digital transformation journey, aimed at improving planning accuracy, reducing operational risks, and increasing the efficiency of mining operations.
