Tashkent hosts the week “Innovations in the mining and metallurgical sector”

On August 22-26, 2022, the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosts the week “Innovations in the mining and metallurgical sector”.

Representatives of large enterprises – Joint-Stock Companies “Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company”, “Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Company”, “Uzmetkombinat”, scientific research institutions take part in the work of the week with their innovative ideas and developments, innovative products.

Chief engineer, member of the Management Board of JSC NMMC A. Ravshanov, head of the Center for implementation of new technologies of JSC NMMC K. Gafurov participated at the opening ceremony of the event. As noted at the event, today the geological, mining and metallurgical industries account for 10% of the country’s gross domestic product. For the further development of these industries, it is necessary to introduce new, modern, innovative and efficient technologies into the technological processes of exploration, production, processing of minerals and bring them to the level of finished products.

The exhibition, organized within the framework of the week, innovative products developed by industrial enterprises and scientific developments designed for use in the field of mining and metallurgy, developed by scientists from research institutes were presented.
