The II media forum is being held in Zaamin district
On November 19, 2022, the II media forum on the topic "National journalism: continuity of traditions and modernity" began, held by Joint Stock Company Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company in cooperation with the Creative union of journalists of Uzbekistan.
Representatives of the media and journalists from regions of our country, as well as foreign journalists accredited in the Republic of Uzbekistan participate at this media forum, organized for the second time.
It should be noted that the first media forum on the topic "National journalism: continuity of traditions and modernity" was held on March 25-30, 2022, in Navoi city. There were held press tours to the units of JSC NMMC – Navoi machine-building plant, Hydrometallurgical plant №5, the Muruntau mine and Hydrometallurgical plant №7 for the participants of the media forum, where they got acquainted in detail with the production processes carried out at the enterprises.
On the first day of the media forum, there was held press tour for the participants to the Zarmitan mine of Southern mining administration of JSC NMMC, located in Zarkent village of Kushrabt district of the Samarkand region. The journalists got acquainted in detail with the activities of the mine and talked with employees.
On the second day of the event, the sanatorium "NMMC" in Zaamin district of Jizzakh region hosted the opening ceremony of the II media forum on the theme "National journalism: continuity of traditions and modernity". Rrepresentatives of the Ministry of foreign affairs of Uzbekistan, the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Uzbekistan, the newspaper "Jumhuriyat" Tajikistan, the news agencies "Reuters" Great Britain, "Fars news" Iran, "Azertaj" Azerbaijan, "Kabar" Kyrgyzstan, the TV channel "TRT" Turkey , as well as journalists working in the fields of press, television, radio and Internet from the regions of our republic participated at the event.
