The main directions for achieving compliance with international standards are presented

On January 27, there was held final meeting of the management and specialists of Joint Stock Company Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company with representatives of the international consulting company SRK Consulting at the company’s Head Office.

The overall strategy for the development and implementation of the “Roadmap” to bring the activities of JSC NMMC into line with the Principles of Responsible Gold Mining of the World Gold Council and the International Cyanide Management Code were being discussed during 4 days.

At the final meeting, the representative of SRK Consulting David Pearce, based on the interim report on the first audit, presented the main directions for further actions necessary for the adoption of the “Roadmap” to bring the activities of JSC NMMC into line with international standards.
