Enterprises conduct tests for employees

Ensuring labor protection and safety is important at Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company. Tests are carried out when hiring each employee and for compliance with important requirements of labor protection and safety in the work process at the company.

The corporate portal for labor protection and safety was launched based on the innovative approach of employees of the main department for labor protection and safety and IT Department. On the portal, the company's employees can familiarize themselves with regulatory and legal documents in the field of labor protection, watch video instructions on compliance with safety regulations and also test their knowledge by passing online testing.

As an experiment, preliminary processes were launched in the units of Central Mining Administration and Zarafshan Construction Administration. In particular, in March it is planned to test 157 engineering and technical employees of Zarafshan Construction Administration and 379 engineering and technical employees of Hydrometallurgical plant №2 using the Outfit system. Prior to this, tests were carried out in four units and 45 employees who did not score enough points were recommended for retraining in these areas.

Also, the knowledge and skills of 40 employees of the Promelectromontazh trust working at the construction site at the Pistali field in Nurata district were tested and evaluated.

The main purpose of this is to increase the knowledge of employees on labor protection and safety, to prevent possible accidents at work.
