Results of 2023: implementation of the Localization program

In Uzbekistan, the production of localized products and the further expansion of intersectoral industrial cooperation are one of the important areas of the economy. JSC Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company is a leading industrial enterprise in this area. The enterprise carries out systematic work to implement the program adopted in this direction.

In 2023, within the framework of the Localization program, the company produced products worth 629.5 billion soums on 173 projects. In particular, the company’s specialists have mastered the production of products with high added value, such as a new type of ball mill for Hydrometallurgical Plant №6, built on the basis of the Pistali deposit in Nurata district of Navoi region, remote controls operating on the basis of remote control automation systems, a vibration control cabinet, spare parts for a new type of mine drilling equipment.

The introduction of the company’s best practices – the “take in tow” mechanism to support producers is gaining great recognition in the republic. As a result, cooperation relations with local manufacturers are expanding every year. In particular, last year, within the framework of intersectoral industrial cooperation, products worth 5.5 trillion soums were purchased from local enterprises.

For example, good results are obtained from well-established cooperation in the production of technical oil and reagents at Chilon Lubricants LLC enterprise in Tashkent, intermediate screen filters, steel castings and quarry equipment at Navpromlitmash, vibratory rollers at Gidro Stanko Servis LLC, polyurethane products at GAUCH LLC, roller cutter products at Azia Gormash LLC, foundry products from special cast iron, graphite electrodes, conveyor rollers, spare parts and components from such business entities as Latem-Metal, Istiqlol yulduzi omad, Shohruh Dildora, Homashyo sifat servis, Registon, Sharq qurilish service LLC, which are located in Navoi region.

Today, Navoi Machine-Building Plant is of particular importance in the production of localized products at Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company. Currently, this plant produces more than 15 thousand types of localized products, 97 percent of which are used for the needs of NMMC.
