Republican media forum ended in Navoi

There was held the solemn closing ceremony of the Republican media forum on the topic "National journalism: continuity of traditions and modernity", organized by the Creative Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan in cooperation with "Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company" Joint-Stock Company, at the Palace of Culture “Farkhad” in Navoi city.

The media forum, which lasted 5 days, was attended by about 100 representatives of the republican and regional media and journalists from all regions of the country. The media forum was attended by Chairman of the Creative union of journalists of Uzbekistan Olimjon Usarov, rector of the University of journalism and mass communications of Uzbekistan, chairman of the board of the National association of electronic media of Uzbekistan Sherzodkhon Kudrathuzha, deputy of the Legislative chamber of the Oliy Majlis Rasul Kusherbaev, editor-in-chief of the magazine “Jakhon adabiyoti” Ahmadjon Meliboev, honored journalist of Uzbekistan Shukhrat Jabborov and member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Farmon Toshev.

As part of the media forum, press tours were organized for the participants of the event to Navoi machine-building plant, Hydrometallurgical plant-7 and the Muruntau mine of “NMMC” JSC. During press tours, media representatives and journalists got acquainted with the production process and talked with managers, specialists and employees of enterprises.

At the solemn closing ceremony of the republican media forum, the chairman of the board - general director of “NMMC” JSC, hero of Uzbekistan K.Sanakulov, chairman of the Creative union of journalists of Uzbekistan O.Usarov, member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan F.Toshev spoke.

Participants of the media forum were presented with valuable and memorable gifts from “NMMC” JSC.

The concert program, prepared by creative teams and performers of the Palace of Culture “Farkhad”, gave the forum participants a festive mood.
