Briefing on the implementation of the state youth policy
April 29, there was held a briefing of the chairman of the Council of youth leaders of "NMMC" JSC S. Radjabov, dedicated to the implementation of the state youth policy following the results of January-April 2022 in “Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company” Joint-Stock Company.
As was reported at the briefing, today about 46 thousand people work at “NMMC” JSC, of which 13 316, or about 30%, are young people under 30 years old. 1 567 people are women and girls. From the young people working at the enterprise 3 135 people have higher education, of which 349 (11%) hold managerial positions, and 713 (23%) are specialists of various categories. In January-April of the current year, 671 youth representatives were hired by the company’s divisions, of which 30 were women.
“NMMC” JSC approved a program for the implementation of the state youth policy in 2022, which consists of 6 areas and 37 points. The company allocated 9.4 billion soums to implement the program.
In January-April of this year, a number of works were carried out within the framework of this program. In particular, in order to attract young people to go in for sports, to promote a healthy lifestyle, about 150 sports events were held in 8 sports, in which more than 5 thousand young people took part. To increase the intellectual potential of young people, to develop their interest in acquiring new knowledge, about 50 qualifying games were held as part of the intellectual game “Zakovat” tournament for “NMMC Cup”, in which more than 100 teams participated and about 2 thousand young people were involved.
Also, within the framework of the national project “Green space” a national event “Green year” was held, within which the youth of the company planted more than 42 thousand saxaul seedlings in the dry part of the Aral Sea, planted more than 100 fruit and ornamental trees in Muynak. In addition, young people took an active part in planting more than 14 thousand seedlings of fruit, ornamental trees and shrubs on the territories of the company’s units.
As part of the blood donation event under the motto “Good will definitely return” 117 representatives of youth and employees of the company donated about 23 liters of donor blood and more than 25 liters of blood plasma. As part of the action under the motto “Let's unite for good” with the participation of representatives of trade unions 521 low-income families, veterans of labor and the disabled were visited and food packages were distributed to them. As part of the Selfless youth” event, with the participation of more than 900 young volunteers 37 hashars were organized at cemeteries, mosques and nursing homes, assistance was provided in landscaping work.
In order to increase the interest of young people in creativity, the formation of innovative approaches, the implementation of new ideas in the field of production, the traditional contest “The best rationalization proposal of 2021” was held. The contest received 146 rationalization proposals implemented in 2021 by 115 young workers under the age of 35. 34 winners of the contest were awarded 62 million soums.
The units held 5 meetings “Leader and youth” on the opinions, proposals, problems and appeals of youth, at which 13 proposals and appeals were received, 10 of them were satisfied and 3 were clarified.
