On February 23, His Excellency Manfred Hutterer, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Uzbekistan, visited the Navoi Mining & Metallurgy Company.

During the visit, a meeting took place between NMMC’s Chief Engineer, Atabek Ravshanov, and Ambassador Manfred Hutterer. The discussion included an overview of the company’s history, its current operations, and recent international collaborations.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange views on cooperation between NMMC and German companies, as well as on further developing the partnerships between Navoi State Mining and Technological University and top German universities aimed at training highly skilled engineers for the mining industry.

In addition, Ambassador Hutterer visited the Muruntau mine, where he observed the mining and transportation processes, as well as the operation of modern mining equipment.
