Representatives of NMMC are participating in the international seminar and training programme “The European Approach to Gender Equality and Inclusion” in Prague, Czech Republic.

The programme is organized by the European Institute of Applied Science and Management with the support of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The programme also brings together representatives of the Ministry, JSC Almalyk Mining And Metallurgical Complex and commercial banks.

The seminar is delivered through an interactive format, combining expert sessions, practical case discussions and group work. This approach encourages participants to exchange experiences, discuss real-life challenges and explore practical ways to promote inclusion and equal opportunities in the workplace.

A valuable part of the programme was a visit to the European Parliament Liaison Office in Czechia, where participants learned more about the European Union’s values and approaches related to human rights, gender equality and equal opportunities.

Taking part in the programme in person provides an opportunity not only to gain new knowledge, but also to engage in direct dialogue with experts and peers, exchange perspectives and better understand how these principles are implemented in practice.
