At NMMC, we continue to modernize our mining fleet to strengthen operational efficiency, reliability and the long-term sustainability of our operations. As part of the Phase III development of the Kokpatas and Daugiztau deposits, new 10 m³ electric mining excavators have been commissioned at the Daugiztau and Vostochny open pits of our Northern Mining Administration.

The new equipment will support the planned extraction of more than 145 million cubic metres of rock mass in 2026, while improving productivity, reducing energy consumption and lowering operating costs.

At the same time, fleet modernization is helping us build safer operations. Modern equipment, combined with disciplined maintenance, robust operating standards and continuous workforce development, reduces operational risk while supporting more efficient mining and haulage activities.

Ultimately, mining performance is measured not only by tonnes moved, but by how responsibly those tonnes are produced. That is why our highest priority remains unchanged: ensuring every employee returns home safely at the end of every shift.
