Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company has commenced the structured implementation of Kaizen and Lean methodologies aimed at strengthening operational excellence, enhancing productivity and reinforcing a culture of disciplined execution across the Company.

The introduction of Kaizen and Lean principles is intended to further improve the efficiency of operational and management processes, optimise resource allocation, enhance workplace safety, and increase the consistency, quality and reliability of business performance. These initiatives support NMMC’s broader objectives of driving sustainable efficiency gains and strengthening operational resilience.

As part of the rollout, NMMC has launched a series of targeted training programmes focused on the practical application of Kaizen and Lean tools. Introductory sessions have already been delivered to managers and specialists from Corporate Headquarters, as well as the Central, Northern, Southern and Kyzylkum Mining Administrations, and the Navoi Machine-Building Plant.

The programme is implemented in line with NMMC’s approved Action Plan and is led by Marat Mirzadzhanov, Chief Specialist of the Organisational Development Department and certified Kaizen trainer, who provides hands-on guidance on Lean principles and their application in day-to-day operations.

The next phase will focus on the identification and selection of pilot projects, followed by the phased integration of Kaizen and Lean tools into core operational processes across the Company.

Through this initiative, NMMC aims to further strengthen operational discipline, enhance process efficiency, and embed a sustainable continuous improvement culture as a key enabler of long-term value creation.
