Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company JSC continues its systematic efforts to integrate internationally recognized standards into its operations, further strengthen its compliance management system, enhance transparency, and maintain effective anti-corruption practices.

The Company has successfully completed an audit confirming compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 37301:2021. Following the successful completion of the audit, a ceremony dedicated to the presentation of the international certificate was held on August 3. The certificate was received by the Chairman of the Management Board of NMMC Kuvandik Sanakulov.

The international standard ISO 37301:2021 “Compliance Management Systems” establishes a comprehensive and globally recognized framework that enables organizations to ensure compliance with applicable legislation, regulatory requirements, corporate governance principles, international best practices, ethical standards, and stakeholder expectations.

The implementation of ISO 37301:2021 at NMMC JSC marks an important milestone in further strengthening a culture of integrity, enhancing compliance practices, minimizing compliance risks, reinforcing the Company’s international reputation, and developing a transparent and effective management system.

The Company highly appreciates the methodological support provided by the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan during the implementation of this standard. The ceremony was attended via videoconference by Umida Tukhtasheva, Deputy Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency, who congratulated NMMC JSC’s team on this significant achievement.
