On May 14–15, the “National Industrial Chain” exhibition is being held in the city of Akhangaran, Tashkent region. The exhibition showcases high-tech products from the mining, metallurgy and geology sectors, as well as industrial startups, scientific developments and future projects.

The main objective of the exhibition is to expand the production of domestic goods, strengthen industrial cooperation, establish robust supply chain linkages between the private sector and large enterprises, engage entrepreneurs in the public procurement system and support the production of import-substituting products.

Representatives of the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company (NMMC) are also taking part in the event. At the Company’s exhibition stand, models of more than 10 types of high-tech industrial products manufactured by NMMC are presented, including a grinding mill, thickener, hydrocyclone, universal lathe, automation control cabinets, mill shaft and others. In addition, more than 100 types of imported equipment used by the Company are showcased as potential localization opportunities for domestic manufacturers.

The NMMC stand also features the “Future Projects” program under the local content initiative in major investment projects. This section presents information on ongoing investment projects by year, phased commissioning and ramp-up to full capacity, the share of local content (equipment, construction, and services), as well as imported technologies, equipment, materials, and raw materials used in implementation.

During the exhibition, as part of industrial cooperation development, it is planned to sign cooperation agreements and memoranda of understanding with local enterprises for the supply of industrial products for the Company’s needs. In addition, NMMC specialists will deliver a presentation on “Priority Directions for Developing Localization and Cooperation in the Mining and Metallurgical Industry.”
