Kuvandik Sanakulov, Chairman of the Management Board and CEO of Navoi Mining & Metallurgical Company (NMMC), has been elected as a Foreign Member (Academician) of the Russian Academy of Engineering.

This election recognizes Kuvandik Sanakulov's longstanding contribution to engineering, technological innovation and the advancement of mining science. It also reflects the strength of the engineering expertise developed within NMMC and Uzbekistan's mining sector, underscoring the importance of sustained investment in innovation and close collaboration between industry and academia.

This distinction adds to Kuvandik Sanakulov's international academic standing, which includes membership in the International Academy of Sciences of Nature and Society, the Eurasian Academy of Mining Sciences, and the Turon Academy of Sciences, as well as an honorary professorship at the International University of Vienna (Austria).
