Tashkent is currently hosting ICTWeek Uzbekistan 2026, the country’s major information and communications technology event. As part of the programme, representatives of Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company JSC (NMMC) took part in a panel discussion focused on digital transformation, the application of artificial intelligence and the adoption of advanced technologies across the industrial sector.

During the panel session, Maksim Khasanov, Deputy Head of NMMC’s Information and Communication Technologies Department, delivered a presentation titled “Large-Scale Deployment of Artificial Intelligence in a Mining Company.” The presentation highlighted NMMC’s experience in applying artificial intelligence technologies and digital solutions to improve operational efficiency and advance the company’s digital transformation.

Following the panel session, NMMC was recognised in the category “Industrial Enterprise Demonstrating the Highest Results in Digital Development”. The award was received by Bakhodir Davlatov, Chief Information and Digital Officer of NMMC, on behalf of the company.

The recognition reflects NMMC’s continued efforts to digitalise its operations, deploy artificial intelligence technologies and develop advanced digital solutions to support greater efficiency and the ongoing transformation of its production processes.
